Islamic Center of Long Island (ICLI)
Islamic Center of Long Island in Westbury grew from Long Island Muslim families who began organizing in the early 1970s, incorporated ICLI in 1982, and purchased the Brush Hollow Road property in 1984. Today the center serves the community with daily prayers, Jumu'ah, an official annual prayer calendar, Weekend School, Hifz, Maktab, IC Kids Preschool, youth and sports programs, adult education, Sisters' Halaqa, Salaam Group, interfaith work, MUHSEN special-needs partnership, counseling, Zakat, and a community pantry serving neighbors every Saturday.
