Muslim Community Center serves the Silver Spring and Montgomery County community from its New Hampshire Avenue campus. MCC's vision began in September 1976, the center was dedicated and opened in May 1981, and it has grown into a nationally recognized Islamic center with daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Al-Hidayah Institute, Hifdh and weekend school programs, MCC Clinic, Food Pantry, Zakat, Janazah services, imam consultation, hall rentals, sisters' programming, family classes, and civic and interfaith representation.
