Omar Mosque, also known on its official site as Masjid Omar bin Al-Khattab, is a Paterson masjid at 501 Getty Avenue. The official about page says the community began in 1995 as a small prayer space founded by immigrant families, purchased the current Getty Avenue property in 2002, completed the main mosque building in 2008, and now serves more than 1,000 community members with worship, education, family programs, and support services.
